New Delhi: For the first time, more than 1,007 individuals in this country have a net worth of RS 1,000 Crore, IIFL Hunun India Rich 2021 wealth released on Thursday shows.
The report said that India experienced a noble decade with cumulative richest individuals to add Rs 2,020 Crores per Day – the creation of the fastest wealth ever experienced by the state.
Of this 1,007 individuals, 13 of them have more than Rs 1 Lakh Crore wealth.
Even in the midst of a pandemic situation that beat the economy, total wealth increased by 51 percent while the average wealth was 25 percent higher.
Furthermore, 894 individuals see their wealth increases or remains the same, where 229 new faces.
The number of billionaires also jumped to 237 to 15 September this year.
