Pune: A total of 1,019 people were tested positive for Covid-19 infection in the Metropolitan Pune (PMR) region on Thursday due to 920 recovery.
A report released by district health workers, Bhagwan Pawar, showed that rural areas continued to add more than 500 cases on Thursday, while the city limit Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad recorded less than 300 new cases respectively.
While the PMC area added 244 new cases in the last 24 hours, the PCMC limit recorded 216.
With this, the collective calculation in the region increased above 10.89 lakh on Thursday, while the total recovery reached 10.62 lakh.
The report stated that the area examined 21,712 samples in the last 24 hours, including more than 8,000 tests carried out within the PMC limit and each rural area, while 4,843 samples were examined within the PCMC limit.
Calculate the patient active in this region rose more than 9,000 more signs to 9,059 on Thursday night.
4,182 patients were in isolation of houses in the region, while 4,877 patients were hospitalized.
Twelve patients died on PMR infection on Thursday.
This includes five deaths each from PMC and rural areas.
Pimpri Chinchwad reported two deaths due to infection.
