Pune: a new positive case in the Pune Metropolitan area remains above 10,000 for the second day in a row on Sunday.
The progressive count of positive patients at PMR rose to 12,49,885, with 10,102 new cases on Sunday.
The PMR area has witnessed 10,281 new cases the previous day.
The total count of patients returned reached 11,69,914 as 5,405 patients recovered.
The death toll rose until 19,292, with eight new deaths, stating the Covid-19 daily report issued by the district administration.
The PMC area recorded 5,375 new cases, followed by 2,626 cases within the PCMC limit.
Rural areas recorded 1,505 new patients and councils and Cantonese recorded 384 and 212 cases.
A total of 3,090 were dismissed in the PMC area, followed by 1,535 patients healed in the PCMC limit.
Rural areas recorded 588 release, followed by 161 and 31 recovery on the Cantonese Board and boundaries.
The PMC limit records five deaths, while rural areas and PCMC boundaries each recorded two and one death.
