Jaipur: The country staggered under the shortcomings of severe specialist doctors when the committee of experts formed under the National Institute of Cascent Management (NIDM) has warned the third wave of Covid which can peak in October.
In RTI’s reply, the Ministry of Health has mentioned that 1,161 specialist doctor posts in the District, District, Satellite, Community Health Center (CHCS) and Primary Health Center (PHCS) lay empty.
Even 87 empty aneesthesia specialist posts that help in the icus and operation.
The expert committee formed under NIDM has searched for better medical readiness for children who might defeat the same risk as adults.
However, in the state, 105 posts were established empty.
It was revealed in RTI’s reply in June.

The state has 192 posts specialists in drugs lying empty in various parts of the country.
A health official said that in the district more than 35% of the posts for specialist doctors lay empty and patients had to take a long distance trip to get treatment from specialist doctors and sometimes they did not have the option except to get treatment from the private hospital.
Surgical empty posts are the highest 368 compared to other specialties.
In the state, non-performing surgeons are the main problem.
Because covid can cause mukormycosis and it requires ENT and OFTALMOLOGY for care, many hospitals have empty posts in two specialties.
A total of 96 post offalologists and 33 posts the lying empty.
