Lucknow: After heavy rains in parts of the country over the past few days, there are currently 1,266 villages affected by floods in 18 countries.
A government spokesman said that water in many areas had begun to recede but there were around 1,134 aid shelter for those who were transferred by flood water.
The government has mobilized around 6,425 ships and 1,040 medical teams while 1,321 flood posts and 1,431 animal aid camps have been arranged.
It has further disseminated 377 motorboats and 174 vehicles for search and rescue operations.
“We monitor the situation and ensure that there are enough drinking water, dry food packages, clothing, clothing, equipment, and beds for people,” said Ranveer Prasad, Commissioner of Help.
Meanwhile, more than 64 teams of national disaster response troops, SDRF and PAC have been deployed to overcome flooding in 40 districts.
The NDRF and SDRF team have evacuated 38,501 people from the flood-affected area and shifted them to help camps.
