More than 13,000 firefighters of a dozen big forest fires in California

Mather: More than 13,500 firefighters worked Monday to load a dozen large California forest fires that had destroyed hundreds of homes and forced thousands of people to escape to a safe place.
After a broad review of the fire damage, Governor Gavin Newsom asked the president’s main disaster declaration for eight districts, Mark Ghilarlarducci, director of the California emergency service office, told direction near Sacramento.
If approved, the declaration will provide various assistance including housing, food assistance, unemployment and government emergency costs, said Ghiladucci.
Nearly 43,000 California were under the evacuation order and more than 500 households in the shelter, he said.
New concerns are developing in the exploding Caldor Fire, southwest of Lake Tahoe, the famous Lake Alpine straddling the country of California-Nevada and surrounded by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada community and the resort.
Caldor API, only 9% contained, has become the number one priority of the country for firefighting resources, said the head of Thom Porter, Director of the Forestry Protection Department and California fire.
“It knocked on the door to Lake Tahoe Basin,” Porter said.
“We have all efforts to prevent it from the basin but we also need to be aware that the possibility based on the way the fire has been burned.” Porter said he personally did not believe the fire would enter the basin but he could prove wrong.
The Caldor fire has burned nearly 180 square miles (466 square kilometers) from El Dorado National Forest and continuous assessment showed 447 buildings destroyed.
More than 17,000 structures are still under threat.
Two police officers from Sacramento County City of Galt were in a critical condition after a head-on traffic collision when they headed to Caldor Fire under the spread of law enforcement, Ghiladucci said.
Go north, detention increases to 40% in Dixie Fire, which has burned more than 1,130 square miles (2,926 square kilometers) in Sierra Nevada North and South Cascades.
Continuous assessment shows 1,259 buildings destroyed, including 678 single family houses, said Cal Fire.
Nearly 13,000 structures are still threatened.
In Nevada, public schools in the Reno and Sparks area and the parts of Lake Tahoe were closed on Monday because Wildfire smoke, affected 67,000 students.
In northern California, where most Blaz burned, there was no red flag warning for critical conditions but the seven-day views were called in the danger of medium fires.
In southern California, meanwhile, moist sea water has made a cloudy sky and the temperature is cooler than normal to every day.
Porter said that there was a low potential for a large new fire in southern California, allowing firefighting resources to surge from the south to the north.
While South California has so far escaped from large-scale forest fires this year, Los Angeles officials on Monday urged residents to realize what had happened in the north because the high fire of this area was usually late in the year when it was dry, the wind of Santa Ana wind exploded from the interior and flow towards the beach.
“The awareness will help us when it happens here in the southern California,” said the Head of the Los Angeles Ralph Terrazas fire during the briefing to display the City Fire Fire Fleet at Van Nuys Airport.
A mixture of spring growth dries by summer heat and strong winds creating “dangerous conditions that can cause a large brush fire and move quickly,” he said.
California’s fire was among more than 90 large and active blazes in the US on Monday, according to the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho.
In Oregon, the official said a firefighter died on Monday against the Southeast API Eugene.
Bryan Cutchen, Oakridge City Administrator and the Head of the fire department, said death was allegedly caused by a tree that fell on firefighters, the registers reported.
Climate change has made westerners warmer and more dried in the last 30 years and will continue to make more extreme weather and forest fires is more destructive, according to scientists.
