New York: More than 1,400 US flights were canceled on Sunday after the country’s northeastern countries were published a day before by a deadly winter storm that encouraged several countries to declare an emergency.
The total number of flight cancellation inside, inward, or outside the United States is around 1,450 on Sunday afternoon, according to the flight tracking website.
1,774 other US related flights were postponed, data showed.
Laguardia Airport and John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City and Boston Logan International Airport were in the most hit by delays and cancellations.
