T’puram: The Chairman of the Pinarayai Minister Vijayan said in the Assembly that there were several investment fraud incidents, in several places in the state, by receiving investment in the gold business.
Replying to this post by Kuttiadi Mla K P Kunjammad Kutty Master in this case, the minister’s chairman said that 13 cases were registered with respect to the gold palace jewelry fraud in Kuttiadi.
Kuttiadi based jewelry, has received gold and money from investors from Kuttiadi, Nadapuram and Payyoli, and failed to restore their investment.
He said that four people had been arrested in connection with fraud.
Vijayan said that 169 cases have been registered with respect to fashion gold jewelry fraud in Kasaragod and Kannur.
Among these, 164 cases were being investigated by the crime branch.
Increasing this problem in the Assembly, Kunjammad said that the perpetrators behind the gold palace jewelry fraud had cleverly removed all gold jewelry and there was an effort to alienate their property.
