KABUL: More than 18,000 people have been evacuated from Kabul Airport since the Taliban took over the capital of Afghanistan, a NATO official told Reuters on Friday.
However, the crowd continued to pulsate outside the airport, desperate to escape, the official said, who refused to be identified.
