More than 1K civil workers clean all Ghats after Chhath

Patna: Within a few hours after the conclusion of the Chhath Festival, hundreds of sanitation workers began to remove waste and the remaining puja material from the alley alley and other water bodies in the city.
District Magistrate (DM) Dr.
Chandrashekhar Singh said 96 teams consisting of hundreds of sanitation workers took the task of cleaning all Ghats from Danapur to Patna City.
Commissioner of Patna City Himanshu Sharma said about 1,000 sanitation workers with a dozens of tractors and other garbage cleaning machines completed the task of cleaning Ganga Ghats and the pond in the afternoon.
Cleanliness driving in Danapur, which has 25 Ghats along Ganga, also carried out by Danapur Nagar Parishad, said Vikkar Vikkar SDO.
The Executive Officer Parishil, Sushil Kumar, said at all 125 sanitation workers with four tractors and JCB machines cleaned all Ghats to 4.30 in the afternoon.
Commissioner of the Division of Patna-Cum-Secretary of the Disaster Management Department, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, thanked the Patna District Administration, Municipal Corporation and the Puja Committee for a safe and peaceful celebration of the Festival of the largest country.
He also announced to officials and staff who were annoying for their commendable work.
He said the current water level was fast and higher in Ganga, about 2 meters more than last year, in addition to the threat of the return of the pandemic with a large crowd was a big challenge for administration and needed weeks to make him success.
