Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District is preparing to vaccinate them between 15-18.
This district has 1.01,549 children.
Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra directed health and other department officials to prepare a list of students, to arrange vaccination camps from January 3 and so on.
During the meeting at the DC office on Wednesday, he said that children and children between 15-18 will be given a covaxin vaccine, and therefore the local primary health center must form a vaccination team in the area concerned.
The action plan must be in place to arrange camps in coordination with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Education Education.
List of children and children who study in schools, colleges, itis, polytechnics and others must be prepared, he said.
He also directed college to request a meeting of the Parent-Teacher Committee, and to provide detailed driving vaccination.
He said that the Madrassa education system and annual examination must not collide with the SSLC examination.
He asked officials to take advantage of Madrassa’s modernization scheme.
Awareness must be made among minorities about the skills development program, he said.
