New Delhi: More than 2,11 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine are still available with the state and the United States, and private hospitals, the United Ministry said on Tuesday.
More than 42.15 crore (42.15.43,730) vaccine doses have been given to the state and the United States (UTS) so far, through all sources, and 71,40,000 doses are supplied, he said.
From this, total consumption, including waste, which is 40.03.50.489 dosage, according to the data available at 8 am, the ministry said.
It was said that 2,11,93,241 balance and dosage of covid-19 vaccine which was not used was still available with the state and UTS, and private hospitals.
The Union government is committed to accelerating the steps and expansion of the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, the ministry said.
The new phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on vaccination starts in June and the inoculation drive has increased through the availability of more vaccines, the availability of advance vaccines to the country and UTS to allow better planning by them and streamline the supply chain, in accordance with the ministry.
It is said that as part of a national vaccination drive, the center has supported the state and UTS by providing their free vaccine.
In the new phase, the government will buy and supply without a cost of 75 percent of the vaccine produced in the country to the state and UTS, according to the ministry.
