AHMEDABAD: Over23 lakh men in the 18-44 age group have now been vaccinated from Covid-19 absolutely free of charge in Gujarat thus much as the inoculation with this particular cohort started on May 1, the state authorities said on Saturday.
“So much, 23,63,254 kids (from the age category of 18 -44 decades ) were vaccinated from Covid-19.
“In one day on Saturday, 2,63,507 beneficiaries from this class were all covered,” stated an official launch.
The state government had previously announced a strategy to inoculate three lakh individuals every day, such as 2.25 lakh in 18-44 category.
By June 4, the government expanded the driveway for this particular age group into each of 33 districts, in just 10 districts past.
The state administration has spent 93.15 crore to secure free vaccine dosages for this particular age category, ” it said.
It’s been placed orders for the following 3 crore doses, stated the launch.
From 2,63,507 individuals vaccinated Saturday, 79,896 have been in civil corporation limitations and 1,98,123 in different regions, ” it said.
But on Friday, 1,92,692 men in 18-44 group was vaccinated, ” it stated.
