Prasagraj: About 27% of the target recipients have been given the first dose of Covid-19 in the city of Sangam.
While increasing the drive of Covid vaccination, the Ministry of Health has covered 90,483 receivers in one day.
Increasing awareness has mostly helped the health department to achieve these records.

About 13,000-15,000 jab was given to recipients of all age groups every day.
The District Health Authority has set the target of administration of Jab Covid to around 39.87 people, including 27 Lakh recipients aged between 18 and 44 years, and 12.87 lakh above 45 years.
In particular, around 6.09% of the target recipients have taken the covid vaccine dose in the district so far.
With more people taking second jab, the number of people who were fully immunized against Covid reached more than 2.42 lakh on Thursday.
Meanwhile, with 27.36% of the target recipients get the first jab, the number of recipients of the first dose has reached 1,090 lakh.
Official claims that more than 13.23,263 Covid shots have been injected to beneficiaries of all age groups in the district to 4,82,633 people have taken the first dose until Wednesday (August 4), 2,40,630 receivers have received the second shot.
A total of 17,523 vaccine shots were given to people from all age groups in the last 24 hours, which included 14,537 first doses and 2,986 second doses.
Additional District Immunization Officers (DIO) and Chief Medical Officer, Dr.
Teuth Lal, told TII, “We made sincere efforts to increase the number of recipients in urban areas, semi-urban and rural areas.
He added that more recipients of all age groups reached Covid Vaccination Center to be affixed.
