Bhubaneswar: exactly one year after drive vaccination against Covid began throughout the country on January 16, Odisha had provided 5.42 doses of crores to date.
Overall 2.28 crore people have been fully vaccinated, while 3.11 Crore has taken at least one vaccine dose available in India.
The main priority was given to health workers and frontline workers were attended by those over 50 years old and the lower age group 50 with co-morbidity.

Ganjam has received more than 48.4 doses of the Lakh vaccine so far, which is the highest compared to other districts in the state.
The state has 3,53,249 health workers (HCWS).
While 99.8% of HCW had received the first dose, 95% of them also took the second dose.
More than 80,000 HCW has received a preventive dose too.
Similarly, the state has 3,52,544 frontline workers.
From them, 99.3% have taken first doses and 94% have received their second dose.
More than 61,000 FLWs have taken prevention doses.
The country has provided a prudential dose to more than 2.28 beneficiaries of the lakh until Sunday night.
More than 10 doses of lakh have been given to children between the ages of 15 and 18 years.
