Pune: More than 30 lakh people in Pune District have chosen covid vaccination paid so far, the data of the district health office is revealed.
According to data, around 23.34 beneficiaries of the lakh have received the first covishield, covaxin or sputnik v, while the beneficiary of 6.67 lakh has received the second shot from the paid site.
Data added that around 440 paid vaccination sites have been registered throughout Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and Pune Rural, where 233 is in Pune, 141 in the Pimpri countryside, and 65 in the countryside.
The maximum paid vaccination has been recorded in Pune’s civil boundary with a dose of lakh 19.73.
Of the total Covid shots given in this district so far throughout the government and private locations since January 16, paid sites contributed around 37% of total vaccination.
So far, the Pune District has recorded a total vaccination of 81 Lakh recipients with the first and second shots.

“In the past, we have transferred our dose to Pune Civic Body, but still has around 17,000 doses with us,” he said.
