Jaipur: More than 3,000 police will be on guard to make security arrangements on New Year’s Eve on Friday.
The additional commissioner of the police (law and order) Haidar Ali Zaidi said that all Station House officers (Shos) had been told to ensure that the revelers were spread over 12:30 a.m.
He said that strict curfew would be followed after that.
He said that Shos had been ordered to pay attention to all farmhouses, hotels, clubs etc.
to see that the number of visitors there did not exceed 200.
“We will establish 83 pickets in the days, 120 at night and 90 years that night,” he said .
Zaidi said that the traffic police would use disposable breathalyser supplies that had just been ordered to check drunk driving in the city on Friday.
“This breathalyzers kit is only for one-time use.
We have ordered it according to the Covid safety protocol,” he told Ti.
Zaidi also said that special arrangements have been made to ensure that traffic in the city moves smoothly.

The source said that more than one tourist lakh has been poured into the city and local police must take into account the traveler’s travelers visiting the city of various places.
Some tourists can choose to leave Jaipur on the same night after the celebration concludes, while others tend to go to their destination on Saturday or Sunday.
A senior official informed TOI that many city hotels were packed with the capacity and all celebrations and parties had been planned for New Year’s Eve.
