More than 34 is influenced by chemical gas leaks in Thane

Kalyan: Chemical company in Anand Nagar MIDC in Ambernath in Maharashtra District reported an incident of sulfur acid gas leak on Tuesday morning.
About 34 people from the company and its surroundings, who complained about respiratory problems, had been treated at the Central Hospital in Ulhasnagar for care.
The Maharashtra pollution control agency (MPCB) and the police team who won in a place claimed that leakage in the chemical company R K was installed in one hour by the MIDC firefight team.
“Sulfuric acid gas leak was reported at around 10 in the morning at the Ambernath MIDC factory and 34 people who complained about the respiratory problems had been hospitalized,” said Santosh Kadam, Head of the Regional Disaster Management Corporation Thane Municipal.
One MIDC firefighting machine was sent to the place and the situation was controlled in one hour.
An activist Satyajit Burman said, “MPCB, the authority responsible for controlling the incident, only the problem of closing notification and after several days allowing the company to operate the incident”.
He said that there was a need to close the company like that playing with the lives of people.
