New Delhi: The cumulative number of covid-19 vaccine doses managed in this country has crossed 35 crores, according to co-win dashboards.
More than 9.61 Crore vaccine doses have been given to beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years, the UNI Health Ministry said.
This added that more than 38.17 lakh (38,17,661) vaccine doses were given on Thursday, according to a temporary report compiled at 7pm.
The ministry said 21.80,915 beneficiaries in the age group 18-44 received the first dose, while 84,107 was given a second dose of vaccines on Thursday.
Cumulatively, 9.38.32,139 people in the age group 18-44 have received the first dose and more than 22.6 lakh (22.68,517) has been given a second dose of vaccines from the start of the third phase of the national vaccination drive.
, Eight countries – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra – have provided the first dose of vaccines to more than 50 beneficiaries each in the age group 18-44.
Also, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have provided the first dose of vaccines to more than 10 beneficiaries of each in the same age group, The ministry said.
