New Delhi: More than 38 lakh students from 1.23 lakh schools in 733 districts throughout the country will participate in the achievement of the National Survey (NAS) on Friday, according to the Ministry of Education and Education (KLH).
The survey, which assessed the competencies developed by students at the third grade, fifth and eighth level, were carried out every three years.
The last survey was conducted in 2017 and is scheduled to take place in 2020.
However, because of the Covid-19 situation, it was postponed until this year.

“It is expected that almost 1.23 lakh schools and 38 lakh students in 733 districts in all 36 states and UTS will be discussed in the NAS survey to be carried out in language, mathematics and EVs for grade 3 and 5; language, mathematics, science & science Social for grade 8, and language, mathematics, IPA, IPS and English for class 10, “said a ministry senior official.

“A portal has been launched to allow coordination with various key functionaries for smooth surveys.
Countries and district reports of cards for both basic and medium levels will be released and placed in the public domain,” added officials.
