New Delhi: More than 41.99 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine by far provided for the state and the United States, and more than 2.56 Jabs Crore is available with them and private hospitals, the Ministry of Health said on Sunday.
In a statement, the ministry said 15.75,140 more doses in the process were provided.
It was said 41.99 crore (41.99.68,590) the dose of vaccines had been given to the state and the United States (UTS) so far through all sources.
From this, total consumption, including waste, is 39.42.97,344 doses, according to the data available at 8 am, the ministry said.
It was said 2,56,71,246 doses of covid vaccine – balance and not used – still available with state / UTS, and private hospitals.
New Phase Universalization of the Covid-19 Vaccination Program starting from June 21.
Under this program, the central government makes the cost-free inoculation for all adults.
The previous vaccine was free for people over 45 years.
Under the drive of national vaccination, the Indian government has supported the state / UT by giving them a vaccine, the ministry said.
In the new drive phase, the union government will buy and supply free of 75 percent of the vaccine produced by vaccine producers in the country to the state / UTS, he said.
