New Delhi: The cumulative dose of covid-19 vaccine given in this country has crossed 44 crores, the UNI Ministry said on Monday.
In other significant achievements, Maharashtra on Monday became the first country to inoculate more than 1 crore of people with both doses of Covid-19 vaccine, he said.
The ministry said that 57,48,692 vaccine doses had been given on Monday, according to a report while 7pm.
It was said that 7,20,900 vaccine doses were given as the first dose and 3,49,496 doses as seconds in the age group 18-44 years on Monday.
Cumulatively, 14,19,55,995 people in the age group 18-44 years throughout the country have received their first dose and 65,72,678 their second dose from the beginning of the 3-phase-3 drive vaccination.
Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have provided more than 1 dose of Crore Vaccine Covid-19 in the 18-44 year age group.
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have vaccassed more than 10 LAKH recipients of the 18-44 year age group for the first dose Covid- 19 vaccines, said Ministry.
