Bhopal: More than 47,000 private schools in Madhya Pradesh suspended online classes indefinitely Monday to suppress their various demands, including releasing their recognition fees after the Pandemic Covid-19 and the return of physical sessions for grade 9 to 12.
There are around 45,000 private schools What is affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh (MPBSE) secondary education council (MPBSE) and 2,800 is affiliated with the Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) in the state.

“We suspend unlimited online classes from today after failing to get a positive response from the state government,” said Ajeet Singh, President of the MP Private School Association, body umbrella of around 45,000 schools affiliated with MPBSE.
He said their main demand was that the authorities stopped examining schools that were closed and updated the recognition certificate from these institutions for five years, not one.

“Seeing the losses that we have pursued, the state government should not impose an annual school recognition fee during this testing period,” he said.
He also alleged that officials disturbed them under Garb School inspection.
In addition, the state government must pay a delayed contribution with the rights to education (RTE) since the last three years, he said.
“Under RTE, schools provide education to underprivileged children and the government should pay it,” Singh added.
VR Modi, another private school association president covering nearly 2,800 CBSE schools in the state, also said that they had suspended their online class from Monday.
“Among other things, we want to resume the physical class to IX’s standard to XII soon.
When all the other things have been reopened, why is the senior class in school not allowed to reopen?” He asked.
