Prayagraj: District Health Authority has set a vaccination target of more than 4.17 lakh teenagers in the age group 15-18 in Sangam City starting January 3.
Registration for the vaccination of children will begin on Saturday.
With the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inoculation of children aged between 15 and 18 years from January 3, the health department official was busy in chalking out strategies for vaccination campaigns.
District immunization officers and additional Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) Dr.
Teuth Lal told TI that a total of 4.17 lakh children in the age group 15-18 will be borne by Vax Drive.
He added, “In the early stages, inoculation will be carried out on the 32 selected centers.
Overall, 32 special health teams have been issued to provide Jab to children.” Dr.
Lal further states that online registration facilities will be available for beneficiaries and benefits The vaccination of children will be carried out in 12 urban public health centers (CHCS) and 20 Rustic CHC.
The central names will be available in the Cowin application.
Teenagers will be attached to Covaxin.
Health officials said that they made additional settings to make a big successful drive and plan was being carried out to improve the quota for walk-in inoculation.

In addition, the Ministry of Health also prepares to manage a booster dose with a qualified population from January 10 and so on.

“The strategy was also cheated to manage the booster dose to around 35,172 health care and 43,228 frontline workers in this district under a different phase” said an official, adding that the booster dose will be given to those aged 60 years or more.
Until now, there were 68,023 doses, including 34, 292 first doses and 33,731 second dose, given to health service workers, while 81,623 doses, including the first 41,796 doses and 39,827 second doses were given to frontline workers in the district.
As many as 35,172 health workers and 43,228 frontline workers are registered for vaccination.
While 97% of health service workers have taken the first dose, 96% of health service workers are fully vaccinated.
In addition, 97% of Frontline workers have taken the first dose, 95% of them are fully vaccinated.
Until December 31, a total of 54.16,684 doses were given among the qualified beneficiaries which included 36,45,760 first doses and 1.70,924 second dose.
About 81% of the total target receivers have taken at least a single dose, while 41% percent are fully vaccinated.
