New Delhi: The cumulative covid-19 vaccine dose given in this country has passed 50.62 crores, the UNI Ministry said on Saturday.
More than 50 lakh doses have been given on Saturday, according to a repent of 7 nights.
The ministry said that on Saturday in the 18-44 year age group, 27,55,447 vaccine doses were given as Jab and 5.08,616 the second.
Cumulatively, 17.54.73,103 people in the age group of 18-44 years in all states and the United States have received their first dose and 1,18.08,368 their second dose since the beginning of three vaccination drives.
Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have provided more than two doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccines in the same age group.
Also, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have given the first dose of vaccines to more than 10 Lakh recipients from the 18-44 year age group, said The ministry.
As of the day 204 of the vaccination drive, a total of 50.00,384 vaccine doses were given 36,88,660 beneficiaries vaccinated for the first dose and 13.11,724 received a second dose of vaccines according to the temporary report.

Vaccination exercises as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from Covid-19 continue to be reviewed regularly and monitored at the highest level, the ministry is underlined.
