New Delhi: With the increase in Omicron cases, the new variant of Coronavirus, Delhi police prepared to increase prosecution and strictly enforce Covid-related norms, including wearing a mask.
Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana studied to review developments and request DCPS district to take the right steps.
In the last five days, Delhi police spend more than 550 Challans for Covid’s related violations in the city.
According to data, from December 11 to December 15, more than 550 Chaltan was excluded including 537 because it was not wearing a face mask.
Data shows that starting April 19 to December 15, 2021, around 2,84,401 Challans was issued against people because they did not wear facial masks in public, followed by 30,398 Challans to violate social blasphemy norms.
Around 1,465 was booked to hold a big meeting in the city, 1,685 to spit.
Delhi police also began to do several drives throughout the city to ensure people participated in the Covid protocol.
Some police official teams visited solid areas to educate people and asked them to follow all the protocols.
Police Delhi has also begun to revive their Covid-19 health monitoring cells led by inspector-rank officials.
The police took steps to ensure the availability of things such as oxygen cylinders and sacrifice drugs, if needed.
Earlier on December 2, the police headquarters had instructed all 15 police districts and other units to be fully directed towards facing an ecocrones related to Omicron through each covid nodal officer.
The command states that all covid care centers must be prepared and requested to ensure the availability of oxygen cylinders and concentrators, soul-saving drugs, hospital beds, ambulants, cleansers, masks, gloves, PPE kits, and other important items, at Center-center.
