More than 56% of active cases concentrate on 6 to distance

Lucknow: More than 56% of active cases in Uttar Pradesh are concentrated in only six districts, in accordance with the data distributed by the state government on Wednesday.
The Covid-19 bulletin shows that the upwards are left with 159 active cases in 45 districts.
Of the total, 56.2% of cases were concentrated in six districts, including Lucknow (25), Gorakhpur (20), Prayagraj (17), Bareilly (13) and Gautam Budh Nagar (13).
Also, as many as 33 districts have become free of pandemic infections with active cases of touching zero, while the 20 regencies of each country are left with one active case.
Meanwhile, only eight new cases were reported throughout the state in the last 24 hours.
Health officials said new cases appeared in only seven districts.
The number of recovery reported in the same duration was 23.
With this, the total number of cases reported in the state reached 17.09,800 of them 16,86,749 had recovered while 22,892 had died.
Speaking of progress on vaccination fronts, health officials said that the total number of doses provided in the state reached 10.6 crores.
In terms of people, 8.55 crore people have taken at least one temporary dose of 2.03 crore fully vaccinated.
