New Delhi: The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses managed in this country has passed 58 crores, the UNI Ministry said on Saturday.
More than 43 doses of the lakh vaccine were given on Saturday, according to a temporary report compiled at 7pm.
The ministry said 20,88,547 beneficiaries in the 18-44-year-old group received the first dose and 7.36,870 were given a second dose of vaccines on Saturday.
Cumulatively, 21,60,58,123 people in the age group have received the first dose and 1,92,54,925 have been given the second dose of vaccines from the beginning of the third stage of drive vaccination throughout the state and the territory of the trade union.
On the 218th day of the inoculation drive, a total of 43,92,759 vaccine doses were given – 27,77,409 beneficiaries received the first dose and 16.15,350 received a second dose – according to a temporary report.
The final report for that day will be compiled by late at night.
