Hyderabad: The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has not affected the number of students who are looking for in the University of Hyderabad (UOH) who have received 62,458 applications for the academic year 2021-22.
The highest number of applications came from Telangana (18,221) followed by Kerala (7,968), Andhra Pradesh (5,551), West Bengal (5,922), Uttar Pradesh (4,435) and Odisha (3,824).
Of all this, the general category contributed 37.28%, another class of backwards (32.71%), the departure was economically (5.23%), scheduled caste (16.01%) and the scheduled tribe (8.75% ).
In terms of gender, men were at 47.73%, women (52.26%) and transgender contributed 11 applications (0.01 percent).
Integrated MSC is the most sought after the course followed by MSc Chemistry, MSc physics among others.
“In addition to the increasing number of applications, there is a five-to-six-sized increase in applications received from foreign students.
Eminence Tag Institutions have created a positive image among the community of students who want to be part of the institution,” said Uoh Deputy Chancellor Prof.

The entrance exam will be told so the national situation in Covid-19 increases.
2,272 seats are offered for reception to 114 courses.
These include 17 integrated courses, 45 postgraduate programs, nine MTECH programs and 45 PhDs.
