New Delhi: More than 63.09 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine has so far been given to the state and the United States by a free center and under the direct state procurement category, the United Ministry said on Monday.
Next, more than 21.76 lakh (21.76,930) doses are in the pipe, he added.
More than 4.87 crores (4,87,39,946) balance and doses of covid-19 vaccine which are not used are still available with countries, the ministry said.
The center is committed to accelerating speed and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, he said, adding that inoculation drives have increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility of the availability of vaccines into the state to allow planning by them and streamline the vaccine supply chain .
As part of a national vaccination drive, the center has supported the country by providing free covid vaccines.
In the new phase of the Covid drive vaccination drive, the center will get and supply 75 percent vaccines produced by producers in the country for free.
