PANAJI: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Thursday asked the Goa Police to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible.
Sawant said that more 700 vacancies would be advertised for the department.
He also said that the state government will bring administrative reform bills.
Goa police have started the recruitment process for more than 1,300 personnel in various rankings, from police sub-supervisors to the police and others.
“Discussing streamlining the recruitment process and other reforms that will begin to strengthen the police in Goa,” Sawant Tweeted.
The minister’s chairman said that he would hold a meeting with the police department to streamline the recruitment and promotion process.
The direction has been given to the Goa police to complete the promotion, Sawant said.

Sawant said that he had begun to review all departments and that two days ago he held a meeting with the Ministry of Education.
