Greater Noida: More than 700 youth enrolled for skills development training at a fair organized by the larger Noida Industrial Development Authority on Sunday.
Officials say these young people will be offered training in 33 different sectors, such as logistics, clothing, retail, automotive, electronics, hospitality, tourism, construction etc.
This training is expected to start from December 20 in the district.
After training is complete, youth will be suitable for employment opportunities in various sectors.
On Sunday, the exhibition was held from 10am to 4pm at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Inter-College in Surajpur.
It was inaugurated by MP Mahesh Sharma in front of the Chief Development Officer Anil Kumar and Gnida Aceo Amandeep Duli.
“The exhibition was held to provide work-oriented training to local youth.
In this case, we partnered with 33 organizations and companies from various sectors.
They will choose these youths for training in accordance with their education qualifications,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, Gnida.

A total of 717 young men enrolled them at the exhibition and their choice for training would be made online from Monday.
“We have 15 training centers spread in Noida, Greater Noida, Dadri, Jewar and other regions.
People come to exhibitions from the Alpha 1 and 2 sector, Ecotech 2, Sector 63 and 81, Gardens of Knowledge 1 and 3 and so on.
The duration of the training will depend on the segment chosen by a young man.
This can be anything between two and six months.
After training, they will be equipped with work prospects in the local industry, “said Sandeep Kumar, who handles registration Sunday.
