New Delhi: More than 1.6 Lakh Covid vaccines were given in the national capital on Friday, taking the total number of people who have been inoculated to more than 82 lakh, said the Delhi government vaccination bulletin.
The bulletin issued on Saturday said a total of 82.12,158 vaccines had been given in the national capital so far.
From them, 63,45,239 was the first dose and 18.66,919 second dose, he said.
According to the city daily vaccination bulletin, 1,60,738 people were vaccinated on Friday, where 1,30,487 beneficiaries received their first dose and 30,251 were given their second dose, he said.
Of the total vaccinated people on Friday, 44,512 were in the age group of 45-60 years and 1,14,462 were in the age group of 18-44 years, he said.
Delhi, who received 50,000 covaxin doses on Friday, has 4,78,000 vaccines in his balance stock, he said.
This includes 2,68,000 Covaxin shots and 2,10,000 covishield, he said.
According to the bulletin, the Covid vaccine stock will now last for two days.
The vaccination program runs at 1,374 centers with the capacity of 2,26,552 vaccine doses every day, he added.
