Hyderabad: More than 95% of the Candidates cleaning the Telangana Engineering General Entering Test (ECET), the results are stated on Wednesday.
Although 23,667 candidates appeared for the exam on August 4, 22,522 candidates qualified in the test.
Girls managed to put up a better show than boys as 95.93% of them qualified 94.85% of boys.
Last year, only 63% of boys were eligible in the exam.
However, this year, the performance of boys improved as above 94% qualified in the ECET, which was carried out in 18 test zones with 41 test centers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Enugurthi Supraja from Karimnagar secured the country’s first rating in the flow of computer science engineering, while Sunkari Shivakumar Goud from Rangiteddy occupied the flow of chemical engineering and the Boddu Abhigna from Nizamabad appeared on electronic and communication.
Panasa Sai Kumar from Peddapalli Safe Top Rank in Civil Engineering, Dadannagari Anurag Rao from Nizamabad Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Thaskala Nehasri from Jagtial Electronic Engineering and Instrumentation, Shaik Azeem Ahmed from Bhadadri Kothagudem in Mechanical Engineering, Kasina Teja from Khammam in Metallurgy and Verananki Sharan from Peddapalli in mining techniques.
B Beemeshwari from Wanaparthy and Mehraj Baig from Manserial was declared a toppers on the BSC pharmaceutical and mathematics.
According to the acceptance schedule stated by the Telangana State High Education Board to enter lateral to be a BE / BTECH or pharmaceutical course, candidates must submit their online application from August 24-28, Certificate verification will be held from August 26-28 and exercise Web Options from 26- August 31.
Temporary seat allotment will be held on September 2.
