Kolkata: It is estimated that 9,896 candidates who qualify in the teacher’s feasibility test (TET) 2021 for elementary schools in West Bengal, said a senior official on Monday.
Tet is the minimum qualification needed for appointment as a teacher in primary (class 1-5) and the top upper (class 6-8) of government schools.
The state government will recruit teachers for grade 1 to 5 from candidates who meet these requirements in the future to fill empty posts, Bengal Bengal Bengal Bengal Board President Bhattacharya said.
Of the 2,45,344 candidates who have registered for Tet 2021, 1,89,814 appears for the examination held on January 31, 2021.

but we want to ensure total transparency, the answer to the model uploaded on the website, and handle candidate complaints,” he added.
The source said the council was very careful to avoid judicial logs because the results of Tet had been challenged in the court in the past by candidates who did not succeed in delaying the recruitment process.
