Kolkata: It is estimated that 9,896 candidates who qualify in the teacher’s feasibility test (TET) 2021 for elementary schools in West Bengal, said a senior official on Monday.
Tet is the minimum qualification needed for appointment as a teacher in primary (class 1-5) and the top upper (class 6-8) of government schools.
The state government will recruit teachers for grade 1 to 5 from candidates who meet these requirements in the future to fill empty posts, Bengal Bengal Bengal Bengal Board President Bhattacharya said.
Of the 2,45,344 candidates who have registered for Tet 2021, 1,89,814 appears for the examination held on January 31, 2021.
