Vadodara: Cash and Jewelry amounts to RS 1.12crore confiscated from a man who was arrested from Pashchim Express by the Godhra train police.
The man was questioned about seizures.
The train police examined the two bags brought by the man and detected large savings of valuables along with almost Rs 78 lakh cash in one of the suitcases.
Jewelry worth almost Rs 35 lakh has been stored under his clothes in the second suitcase.
The police have begun to question the man about money and jewelry found at him.
The source said that the man came from Panchkula in Haryana.
He has not been able to provide valid explanations or documents for cash and valuables as long as the initial question.
