Last month Microsoft launched the Amazon App Store that allows users to run an Android application on Windows users 11.
This feature is only available for users who are part of the Insider Windows beta channel.
Now the company also released updates for users listed on the Windows Dev channel.
The operating system ability to run Android applications has been disclosed by the company in June.
Microsoft has partnered with Amazon and popular application developers to reduce 50 applications for Windows inciders to test and validate in a broad set of hardware.
If you want to try an Android application on Windows 11, you first need to join Windows Insider Beta or Dev Channel.
You also need to set up your PC area to the United States and to access the Amazon App Store, you need an Amazon account based in the US.
Apart from this, you also have to remember some system requirements besides basic Windows 11 requirements.
According to Microsoft, your PC needs to have at least 8GB of RAM, SSD along with the 8th generation Intel Core i3, AMD Ryzen 3000 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8C processor or higher .
If you are not part of Windows Insider, you can run an Android application on Windows 11 through Windows Subsystem for Android.
The company claims that running Android applications and games on Windows 11 will feel familiar and you can easily run this application side by side with the help of the new layout feature.
You can also emit it to the start menu or taskbar and interact with them through the mouse, touch or pen input.
The Android application is also integrated into Alt + Tab and the task view to quickly move back and forth between the most widely used applications.
You can see notifications from the Android Application notification at the Action Center or share your clipboard between Windows applications and Android applications.
