BHUBANESWAR: More women than men have got infected in Kandhamal district on Saturday.
Of the 83 new positive cases detected in the tribal dominated district, 44 were women and the rest men.
“This is only one day figure.
But overall, the number of male patient is higher than female in the district,” said an officer.
The total number of Covid cases in the district has crossed 10,000.
The district’s total case count is 10,051, while 9,306 patients have recovered.
