“There was a puddle of water at the underpass but it soon cleared.
It does not create a major problem in the movement of commuters,” said an official of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC).
Ayodhya Nagar Road residents claim that since the waste water in the morning they have to face problems while leaving for work.
“Waterlogging in this area are not common but this time it creates a problem.
The locals in the area can not go out to work,” said Gita Brahmbhatt, a resident Adaja.
Meanwhile, residents in the Mithi Khadi claimed that they have to face problems while going to work.
Mithi Khadi is the main area through which thousands of Limbayat go to work every day.
A large number of workers engaged in the textile market and other industries face the discomfort of railway underpasses were flooded and the area Mithi Khadi.
“Employers like I faced many problems due to waterlogging in this area.
In the past we have complained to the local authorities because it is a regular problem during the rainy season,” said Imran Khan, a garage owner in Mithi Khadi.
