Netherrealm Studios seems to have teased the next installment in the Mortal Kombat series, called Mortal Kombat 12, according to the Report by PlayStationLifestyle.net.
The leak was proven when Senior Production Manager Jonathan Andersen recorded a tweet that showed some artwork lying on his desk, and could be staged because a small portion of the desktop was seen in the picture showing the title name.
Tweet is removed but the image is captured by restasera.com.
To find a name, check the desktop section on the top right of the image.
“As soon as fans realized that Andersen’s photo was staged, he liked the tweet that suggested this not tempting, but a joke aimed at enthusiasm for a vibrant Mortal Kombat.” Report words by PlayStationLifestyle.net.
Leaking, it can be expected that NetherRealm plans to release this year’s game or early next year.
However, we must wait for some more information to appear.
There is one other franchise that fans, especially DC, will be interested in: injustice.
Artwork on the table also shows some DC character designs such as Wonder Woman and Brainiac.
Warner Bros had previously denied reports that he wanted to remove the netherrealm of the development task on the game of injustice.
Also doing that rounds rumors that the video game studio can prioritize mortal Kombat 12 on injustice 3.
So, can NetherRealm make two big game announcements with Mortal Kombat 12 and only one? Only the future will reveal.
