Solapur (Maharashtra): Four city corporate workers died while working on a drainage system in Akkalkot from the Maharashtra Solapur District on Friday.
Two workers have died in place on Thursday while the other two have been taken to the hospital in serious conditions.
They died on Friday morning.
After the incident, the locals blamed Soapur Municipal Corporation for his negligence.
They said that the municipality did not provide the safety gear needed for workers involved in drainage work.
According to the local community, national highway construction work in this area also creates problems for workers.
Local residents have tried to save workers who died but due to lack of gear, two killed in yesterday’s place.
Social organizations have strongly condemned Fateful incidence and urged the government to take action against contractors involved in work.
