Pune: The State School Education Department will introduce a single textbook formula from 2022-23 and so on to reduce the weight of the school bag carried by students every day.
This will be introduced in STD I and will be implemented for all primary classes later.
The four subjects teach in STD I, English, marathi, mathematics and play and learning, have been integrated into a textbook per four semesters.
