Thane: a great fire broke out in the plastic product factory here at Maharashtra controlled after about six hours on Monday, officials said.
Blaze erupted around 9pm on Sunday in a plastic chair manufacturing unit and other products in the Murbad Industrial Industrial area, and quickly spread throughout the place.
Five firefighting machines rushed to the place and the flames were controlled around 3am on Monday, said the Head of the Municipal Regional Disaster Management Corporation Santosh Kadam.
No one was injured in the incident, he said.
Cooling operations are underway, he said, adding that the cause of the fire was still unknown.
