Most of the Delhi schools reopen, some are still exercising

New Delhi: Most of the schools in the national capital are reopened on Monday for grade 9 to 12 after a prolonged closure due to Covid-19 pandemic, while several private schools still exercised modalities such as parents’ approval and transportation availability.
In the middle of the Covid-19 case which declined in the city, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had been on Friday decided to reopen higher education institutions and training centers along with schools for class 9-12 from February 7.
Also decided to reopen the school for students from Nursery to grade 8 from February 14.

In one private school, student bags are disanitized as part of prevention measures against Covid-19.
Chairman of the Delhi Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared on Twitter several photos of children were welcomed in various schools.

“Glad to see children back at school again.
They are also frustrated.
I pray that the need to close the school does not appear again,” he tweeted in Hindi.
Deputy Chairperson of Minister Manish Sisodia also visited several schools and interacted with students.
“Delhi’s school finally opened now.
The splendor returned again with the return of children,” he said in a tweet.
Some private schools are not open on Monday.
“We have not reopened because there are many modality.
Board classes approach their exam so that the presence will be thin.
Also, providing transportation for students is difficult, so we will still finish the details.
We will do it a plan in two days,” said the representative Private Principal Principal.
The schools in the city were reopened before closing again on December 28 last year given the third wave of Covid-19 driven by the Omicron variant.
While the center has dropped permission from parents mandatory for students to attend school physically from their guidelines and leave them to America, the Delhi government has decided to continue.
There is no 50 percent hood for strength and school students free to decide the number of students based on their infrastructure so that the Covid-19 protocol is followed.
Universities will also be reopened from Monday with DDMA who decided with online classes and said that higher education will now be fully offline in the national capital.
The University of Teacher managed by the Delhi Singh Indraprastha government and Jawaharlal University Nehru (JNU) has continued offline classes from Monday, while Delhi University continues with online class.
