Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Monday established a 30 member assignment unit, led by the Ministry of Industry Subhash Desai and consisted of several famous company leaders, to ensure the industrial sector work without sacrificing the preventive measures of Covid-19.
The task force consists of industrial department officers, state governments and private company representatives, especially leading companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.
In accordance with government resolution (gr), the task force will prepare an emergency response to Covid-19, Chalk Out the action plan for the medium term, coordination of aid operations, including the availability of vaccines, quarantine centers, testing sites, oxygen, and food for employees.
The task force will also ensure the compliance of the health protocol industry and augmentation of health care capabilities.

The effectiveness of new bodies will be reviewed based on its ability to resolve concrete problems by facing two main stakeholders – the Maharashtra government department and the main industry.
