Mumbai: Maharashtra on Saturday reported 3,276 new Koronavirus infections and 58 deaths, said the state health department.
It took the calculation of Covid-19 cases in the state to 65.41.119, and the death toll became 1,38,834.
On Friday, the state has reported 3,286 new infections and 51 deaths.
With 3,723 patients removed from the hospital, the number of recovery increased to 63,60,735.
The state has 2,59,120 people in house quarantine, 1,483 in institutional quarantine and 37,984 patients are active.
The recovery rate of Maharashtra case is at 97.24 percent while the mortality rate is 2.12 percent.
The cumulative number of Coronavirus tests conducted in the country rose to 5.79.92,010 with 1,72,625 tests since Friday night.
Dhule District, Nandurbar, Nanded, Wardha, and Gondia did not report fresh Covid-19 cases.
Likewise, Dhule, Parbhani and Chandrapur Corporations Municipal also did not report new cases.
The Ahmednagar district reported the highest 658 infection in the afternoon, followed by Mumbai District with 455 new infections.
Ahmednagar district also witnessed the highest death.
Among the eight regions of Maharashtra, the Pune region reported 1,039 covid-19 cases of the highest, followed by 995 cases in the Mumbai region.
The Nashik region reported 778 new cases, Kolhapur 258, Latur 116, and the Aurangabad area of 50 cases, while the Nagpur and Akola regions reported 20 cases.
Of the 58 fresh fatality, the 18 highs were reported from the Pune region, followed by 12 deaths of each of the Nashik and Mumbai regions.
The Akola and Nagpur regions did not report death.
The kolhapur and monitor regions each lowered seven deaths and Aurangabad regions reported two deaths.
The city of Mumbai witnessed 455 new Covid-19 cases and five deaths, while Pune City reported 172 new cases and three deaths.
Among the districts, Pune has 9,416 highest active cases.
