Mumbai: The day after the Covid-free Bhandara district without active cases, the Dhule Maharashtra North District with a population of more than 20 lakh announced it has become freely Covid after 486 days.
However, the day after reporting a six-month low in daily detection, the state added 5,609 cases on Tuesday and the fatality also jumped to 137 of 68 on Monday.

The first Covid case was detected in the Dhule district in April last year.
The Covid District Coordinator Dr.
Vishal Patil said with the recovery of two patients without symptoms of Taluka Soluka on Monday night, there were no active cases throughout the current district.
Since July 31, there are no fresh Covid cases, but the health department continues to do around 1,000 tests a day.
