Most: school to restart today in Covid free villages

Pune: Some schools in the Rural Maharashtra, where Covid cases are low or non-existent, arranged to reopen from Thursday.
These schools, including some in Pune District, will continue graduating 8 to 12 to get started.
Re-opening decisions emerged after a standard operating procedure setting (SOP) for schools by the state government, permission from Gram Panchayats and orientation with parents about sending their children to school.
School representatives say the orientation lives in the safety measures to be adopted.

The Committee will include collectors, principals and health officials.
The school must follow all the SOPs and conduct a timely examination of students on the campus.
Schools are also instructed to monitor the right implementation of social distance norms, including allowing only 15-20 students per class.
ZP Senior School Teacher Arvind Jagtap said, “All of our staff members have been fully vaccinated.
We are ready to reopen our school from Thursday and have received permission from Gram Panchayat.” Sushma Ghuge from Indapur Taluka, the mother of grade 10 students, ” Because this is a crucial year for my daughter, I feel she has to attend a class session rather than taking online lessons.
