Gurgaon: District on Monday will vaccinate at 25 government session sites, where 19 will be for Covaxin, four for covishield, one for Sputnik V and Mobile Van.
All sessions, besides one for sputnik, will continue to provide only the second dose.
At present, Gurgaon has around 2,000 doses of covishield and 5,000 covaxin doses.
Therefore, it does not provide the first jab because of limited stock.
“We have a very limited supply vaccine dose and focus on the second dose recipient.
We hope to get more doses in the next few days.
We will also start a Sputnik V shot on four different sites after we train vaccines to handle new vaccines,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
On Monday, 50 slots will be available in sector 31 Polyclinic for Sputnik V.
At present, Gurgaon has received a component one, which is the first dose for Sputnik V.
the district will soon get the second component too.
A total of 2,446 people in the age group 18-44 were inoculated on Sunday.
In the 45-plus category, 1,441 people take photos.
A total of 13 health care staff and 40 frontline workers also received Jab.
Overall, 3,940 Jab – 2,508 the first dose and 1.432 second dose – administered.
