Most sought bihar criminals, arrested

Patna: The Special Task Force (STF) and Police Gopalganj arrested Munna Mishra’s criminal most sought together with the AK-47 Assault Rifle and his 28 ammunition from Pakahan Village under the Kateya Police Station in Gopalganj District in the Wee District Friday.

Munna, has three aliases as Dilip Mishra, Manoj Mishra and Eknayan Mishra, came to Gopalganj at that time on a bicycle from Uttar Pradesh.
Source STF said that the use of extensive human intelligence was made to capture Mishra because he did not use all types of cellphones to avoid supervision.
They said that Munna brought RS 50000 gifts stated by DGP and continued to avoid arrests since 2015.
Gopalganj SP Anand Kumar said that until now they have been able to explore 37 criminal cases of vile properties against Munna which most include murder and extortion registered with various companies in Gopalganj.
SP said that of 37, there were at least 14 criminal cases registered between January 26, 2017 and May 24 this year where it had avoided continuous arrests or stated as a court.
“Besides Gopalganj, he was also active in Siwan and Deoria, upwards.
We collected details of the police from these two districts.
We hope that the total number of criminal cases registered against Munna will exceed 50 details of criminals against it from two other districts appear,” said Kumar added Munna also avoided the arrest of the police.
SP said that he had killed the main witness from the murder case on September 6 last year and then a trader was because he denied satisfactory on May 24 this year, both under the Kateya police station area.
“He has used the same AK-47 assault rifle in both the killings who have now been confiscated by the police.
Munna has shared details about the source from which he has held automatic weapons but the police cannot reveal at this time,” Kumar said.
SP Kumar said that Munna was used to operate in a different way where he never had separated calls to anyone.

Kumar said that Munna has been an active criminal since 1998.
He said Munna’s first criminal record was the murder he did on April 12, 1998 under the Kateya police station.
“He was in prison for at least five years and had come out on a guarantee in 2015 to be active again,” SP said.
SP said that Munna had a hiding place in Gopalganj, Siwan and Deoria.
“At least seven Munna members have been arrested.
At least three more have not been arrested for whom the attack continues continuously.
Munna is the main target of the police because he is a gang leader,” he said.
